Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb is ready to have a major bounce-back season in 2025. Before Super Bowl LIX, On3 caught up with Chubb and asked him about his current health status after battling multiple injuries last season and in 2023.

“I feel good and I’ve definitely been through a lot last two years,” Chubb told On3. “So I’m trying to bounce back. Things happen. I came back, broke my foot. It is what it is. I’m healthy now. New season, I have a full off-season. And I already have… I’m back to my training. So I’m feeling good, looking forward to getting healthy and getting back out there.”

In 2024, Chubb began the year on the physically unable to perform list as he was recovering from a torn MCL and damaged ACL. He returned to action in Week 7 and played in eight games before suffering a broken foot.

In the last two years, Chubb has played in 10 games and rushed for 502 yards with three touchdowns. The Browns are hoping that Chubb can return to the player who rushed for over 1,000 yards and at least eight touchdowns each season from 2019 to 2022.

Nick Chubb reveals how the Browns can have success in 2025

If Nick Chubb can be a top running back in 2025, the Browns have a chance to do something special. But the former Georgia Bulldogs star knows it’s going to take everyone to do their part on and off the field.

“I think the biggest thing we got to do as a team is, besides who’s going to lose on our roster, obviously we need certain guys,” Chubb said. “But for the main part, we need to just come together as a team and like starting camps, get up to just work, fundamentals, paths, running the ball, pass the ball, coming together closer as a team, finding chemistry between the team and everybody just coming together and having a mindset that we want to win more games.”

The Browns selected Nick Chubb in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft. Along with making the Pro Bowl four times, Chubb was selected to the All-Pro Second Team in 2022 after rushing for 1,525 yards and 12 touchdowns in 17 regular season games.
