There was only one way that this mess of a race was going to end, with a huge wreck. Nick Sanchez didn’t mind as he secured the win. Sanchez, the 2022 ARCA Menards Series champion took home his first career win in the NASCAR and did it at Daytona.

This Fresh From Florida 250 was chaotic, full of mayhem, and at times ugly to watch. The race had a record-high cautions with twelve total. From lap six to the final lap, cars were being wrecked all night.

While some of the incidents were minor, or happened due to circumstances beyond the drivers’ control, many were due to human error. Plain and simple, it was a frustrating night.

However, it wasn’t frustrating for Nick Sanchez. The only thing he will remember from this race is the fact that he went home with the win.

Here is the wreck that ended the race tonight. Rajah Caruth got into Jack Wood and the rest of the field wrecked behind them. Taylor Gray flipped over completely and landed back on his wheels.

It felt like only a matter of time before Nick Sanchez grabbed a win in the Truck Series. He came very close in his rookie year multiple times. Tonight, he was able to finish the job and get a checkered flag.

Nick Sanchez wins, Taylor Gray ‘pissed’ at Rajah Caruth

Tonight was frustrating not only for fans watching but even more for the drivers in the race. Getting a rhythm and finding your groove is so important for superspeedway racing. Too much pushing too early, throughout the race, and at the end caused so many issues.

Nick Sanchez might be going home a happy driver, but Taylor Gray is not.

After being released from the care center, Gray acknowledged the incident. He didn’t understand what Rajah Caruth was trying to do, saying there was nowhere for him to go. While Gray likes Caruth, he admitted he was “pissed” about what went down to end the race.

The Truck Series is full of young drivers trying to find their way. Everyone wants to prove themselves and show that they are worthy of a bigger shot in NASCAR. However, tonight was a continuation of the poor racing everyone complained about at the end of last season.
