Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni sent a message to offensive coordinator Kellen Moore after the team won Super Bowl LIX on Sunday. While speaking to Terry Bradshaw after the game, Sirianni talked about the impact his coordinators made on the Eagles this season.

“Vic [Fangio] has been a great coordinator in this league for decades, and he was awesome today,” Sirianni said. “Kellen, let’s run this s**t back, Kellen. Let’s run this back.”

Nick Sirianni said that to Moore because the Saints are expected to hire him as their new head coach. Moore has been the top candidate for the Saints job since interviewing with the team last month.

According to ESPN, Kellen Moore is expected to have his salary more than doubled, and possibly tripled. He has privately told people he is interested and wants the Saints job.

What Nick Sirianni likes about Kellen Moore

Last week, Moore told reporters that he had a “great” experience meeting with Saints general manager Mickey Loomis and other team officials. The Saints are the last NFL team with a current head coaching opening. They fired Dennis Allen during the season, and Darren Rizzi filled in on an interim basis.

The Eagles hired Moore as their offensive coordinator in 2024. Moore spent the 2023 season as the Los Angeles Chargers offensive coordinator. From 2019-2022, the 36-year-old was the offensive coordinator of the Dallas Cowboys.

“As an accomplished offensive coordinator, a former NFL player, and a Heisman finalist, Kellen has shown a tremendous ability to lead an offense at every level of the sport while gaining the trust and respect of his players and teammates,” Sirianni said after the Eagles hired Moore last year, per the Eagles’ official website. “He is an incredibly smart football coach whose depth of knowledge of the game has helped him become a talented playcaller in this league. During Kellen’s tenure as an NFL coach, he has helped to develop some of the best quarterbacks in the league and directed some of its best offenses. We are thrilled to have Kellen join our team.”

Moore played in the NFL as a quarterback from 2012-2017. The former Boise State star was with the Dallas Cowboys for three seasons and the Detroit Lions for another three.
