WATCH: Odell Beckham Jr. gives hilarious take on Joe Burrow
Odell Beckham Jr. is a massive fan of his upcoming opponent, Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow — both of who first made their mark at LSU.
In a press conference leading up to Sunday’s NFL clash between the two LSU Tigers greats, Beckham was asked about his relationship and thoughts on Burrow. He delivered a hilarious response while giving an insightful answer to the question.
After raving about the Bengals’ signal caller and taking fans back to the time they met, Odell Beckham suddenly grinned.
“Umm, Joe Burrow, is yes, cool for sure,” Beckham said. “The guy is smooth, and truly, I was from afar, but getting to meet him around championship time, going back and kind of just kickin’ it with him, you can’t help but like this guy.”
Beckham was already a legend in Baton Rouge when Burrow solidified himself during one magical season after transferring from Ohio State.
“He’s going to be one of the greats and I truly believe that,” Beckham said of Burrow.
When asked to elaborate what exactly it is that makes players gravitate toward Burrow, Beckham gave another honest, insightful response.

“Just the person he is, I’m not with him every day so I can’t speak on that, but just from the encounters … if that little glimpse is what he is every day, you can’t help but not like the guy,” Beckham said.
Odell Beckham reveals he almost chose another NFL team over Rams
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. revealed Monday that he nearly didn’t land in LA, and in turn would have never made his first Super Bowl this season. Beckham said he was very close to signing with the Patriots.
But how close?
“Very. Very, very, very,” Beckham said Monday.
Odell Beckham also revealed that he had conversations with New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick over the phone. The deal could have been done, but Beckham didn’t see the post-Tom Brady era Patriots as the right fit for him at the moment.
“I don’t think I joked with [Belichick] on the phone, but I was [feeling] like, ‘You know, if this was three years ago, it would have been ideal. You know?” Beckham said. “Because Tom [Brady], he’s one of my favorites.”
