Former Big 12 foes Oklahoma and Missouri collide in Columbia in what will be a first-time SEC matchup between the two programs during Week 11.

The Sooners snapped a three-game losing streak against Maine during Week 10 while the Tigers were on their bye week, so both teams should come into game week refreshed and ready to start November on a high note.

Heading into game week, Missouri has opened as a 2.5-point favorite over OU, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

The over/under point spread is set at 43.5.

Week 11 will be the 97th all-time meeting between the Sooners and Tigers. However, it’s one that the Sooners have dominated historically. OU leads the all-time series 67-24-5 and has won eight of the last nine matchups dating back to 1999.

2010 was the last time Missouri claimed a win over the Sooners, which came when both programs were in the Big 12 Conference. The most recent meeting was in favor of the Sooners, which was a 38-26 win in Norman.

These two programs also met for the Big 12 Championship in 2007 and 2008 — both of which were won by Oklahoma and saw OU outscore the Tigers 100-38 in those two matchups. The Sooners also defeated Missouri twice in 2007.

With no meetings between the two teams since 2011, both programs have evolved over the years and are now in the SEC together. The Tigers appeared to be on a trajectory to the College Football Playoff before dropping a couple of games in recent weeks, while the Sooners appear to still be trying to find their identity offensively heading toward the home stretch of the regular season.

With Oklahoma still trying to earn its way to being bowl-eligible and meetings against Alabama and LSU to close out the regular season — this appears to be a must-win matchup for the Sooners. Meanwhile, Mizzou’s toughest stretch of the regular season is behind it and can still finish the regular season with 10 wins.
