Oregon and Wisconsin is an interesting Big Ten matchup. In fact, it feels like this should be a Rose Bowl matchup just because of the colors and the pageantry.
The Ducks were rolling ahead of the first College Football Playoff rankings on November 5th. They were ranked No. 1 in the country and had the inside track to the top seed, via a Big Ten title.

Dan Lanning and company certainly have one of the best squads in America, following last year’s Pac-12 runner-up finish.
Led by QB Dillon Gabriel, Oregon certainly has the advantage over Wisconsin. Luke Fickell and his Badgers had to lick their wounds following a 42-10 loss to Iowa.
“Not a lot that words can say to explain how I feel,” Fickell said after the game. “It’s really really tough to put it to words right now. We’re going to have to pick ourselves up, we’re going to have to move forward. And we’re going to have to find a way to make sure we’re better.”
Pick themselves up they will. Oregon will go into Madison to take on Wisconsin as a big favorite. But, it’s college football and wackiness can certainly occur.
Perhaps we see that this weekend.
