Former ESPN commentator Pablo Torre has been at the forefront of much of the bombshell reporting around Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson that’s made the pair popular headline fodder throughout the first half of 2025. Two weeks ago, that included an in-depth piece on his Pablo Torre Finds Out podcast about the infamous 2023 Ring video featuring the six-time Super Bowl champion head coach shirtless outside a Massachusetts Airbnb.

That particular report, which revealed concerns from the Airbnb’s hosts, prompted Hudson — Belichick’s 24-year-old girlfriend and occassional business partner/PR specialist — to attack Torre’s journalistic credibility, calling his reporting “nothing short of factually incorrect, slanderous, defamatory and targeted” in a May 23 Instagram post that was quickly deleted.

For his part, Torre has stood by his reporting from the start, and did so again during a recent appearance on NBC Sports’ Pro Football Talk podcast with Mike Florio, and even found humor in Hudson’s response.

“My first reaction was to – and I’m not necessarily proud of this – but I did laugh. … The Instagram story, to me, was funny just because … look, I’ve said throughout this as a matter of almost warning, the thing about me is I take stupid things seriously when it comes to how we investigate silly things that may seem silly superficially,” Torre told Florio on NBC Sports’ Pro Football Talk podcast. “I want to find the depth in them. I want to do it rigorously. I will talk to 11 people. I will pull fancam footage from Patriots websites. I will hire geo-guessers to find the visuals to match Ring cam video to blurry screenshots. I will talk to everybody and do my reporting because my credibility is on the line when it comes to the stupidest or more serious episodes we do.

“And just so people understand, we also have done episodes where we investigate the rec-league hockey career of the current FBI director,” Torre added. “We have investigated Russian oligarchs when it comes to Olympic corruption scandals. We have investigated billionaires in the NBA – multiple billionaires – who have so much more money and power than certainly Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson do.”

As part of his reporting into the Ring camera video, Torre rented the same Airbnb and spoke to the renters about their experience with Hudson and their initial concerns upon seeing “this creepy old guy who’s either her relative or a drug dealer” outside their rental, referring to the 73-year-old Belichick. In response to Torre’s podcast report, Hudson posted a screenshot of text messages between herself and the Airbnb renters from July 1, 2023 discussing a potential extra fee for her “guest” — Belichick.

During his discussion with Florio, Torre doubled down on his reporting and called out Hudson’s quickly-deleted IG response, which only raised more questions for the intrepid journalist.

“So, there is zero fear. What there is, though, is some mixture of a pie chart in which there’s a slice of irritation because nobody likes having their credibility questioned, even in scare quotes by Jordon Hudson,” Torre continued. “The other part is the deleting of it happening so soon after. I can’t script this stuff. You ask questions then. Why did she delete it? What she posted, which was a screenshot of her text message exchange with the Airbnb owners, (were) some texts back and forth that had really nothing to do with her beef with me on the merits of my credibility, along with the headline being defamatory, targeted, unfair, fake reporter stuff.

“I feel like Jordon Hudson may have accidentally, once again, placed a rake and jumped on it with both feet. I’m like, ‘I don’t know why she did this.’ I just know that it’s something that I am happy to keep looking into.”
