Packers HC Matt LaFleur confronts Lions fan on field during TNF broadcast
Things always get heated between the Packers and the Lions, as it’s one more intense rivalries in the National Football League. And it didn’t take long for things to escalate before their clash on Thursday Night Football on Amazon Prime. Packers head coach Matt LaFleur confronted a Lions fan before the game started on the field.
Here he is shouting some obscenities at the Detroit fan.
The Lions-Packers game was a pretty high scoring affair as expected, with the Lions leading 24-21 at the end of the third quarter. Jordan Love completed 12 of 20 passes for 206 passing yards, while tossing in a touchdown with no interceptions. The Packers took control early in the fourth quarter, scoring a touchdown to go up 28-24 with 13:54 left in the game.
Lions receiver Tim Patrick had one of his best nights in a long time, hauling in six catches for 43 yards and two touchdowns. It had been 1,082 days and two major injuries since Patrick scored a touchdown. He had two on Thursday night. And Detroit jumped back on top, leading the game 31-28 with 8:39 left in the fourth quarter. Packers running back Josh Jacobs had 18 carries for 66 yards and three touchdowns.
