Parker Kligerman Daytona disqualification: Henderson Motorsports has appeal denied

NASCAR has made its ruling on the appeal from Parker Kligerman and Henderson Motorsports. Per Bob Pockrass of Fox Sports, Kligerman and Henderson Motorsports lost the appeal to the Truck Series race disqualification.
Parker Kligerman believed he won the Truck Series race at Daytona on Friday night. However, the veteran NASCAR driver’s truck was disqualified for missing height postrace. After learning the news, Kligerman went to social media to share his reaction.
“Biggest win of my life,” Kligerman posted to X/Twitter. “Thank you all for the wonderful messages. Over 700 texts. I will not be commenting any further until we are able to present what I believe is a very, very valid case.
“Until then, I’m fully focused on my job with [The CW Sports] and [NASCAR Xfinity Series] because the drivers and teams deserve the full focus on the massive stage ahead of them.”
After NASCAR announced that Kligerman was disqualified, the organization named Corey Heim the winner. “Well, it’s my first time having this kind of scenario happening either way, so certainly glad to be on the right side of it,” Heim said after the race, per NASCAR.com. “It sucks for Parker and those guys.

“It seemed like they put themselves in a position at the right time to win the race, but obviously, there is another level to it after the race. Grateful to be in the spot to take advantage of that.”
Parker Kligerman competes in NASCAR part-time as he also covers Xfinity Series races for The CW. He raced in the Xfinity Series full-time in the last two seasons, finishing 10th in the final points standings in 2023 and 2024.
Kligerman is also a co-host of The Money Lap podcast with former NASCAR driver Landon Cassill. After learning about Kilerman’s disqualification, Cassill revealed what Truck Series drivers need to do to prevent a disqualification from happening.
“The penalty for finishing a NASCAR race with no damage is that you have to pass post race heights,” Cassill wrote on X/Twitter. “Drive it into the fence on the cooldown lap. It’s your only choice. I had no damage in New Hampshire, so they checked my heights: too low, DQ. Later I ran P4 at Phoenix, and made sure that didn’t happen again.”
