Fresh off of his final full-time season in NASCAR, Parker Kligerman is ready to get back behind the wheel- this time in the Rolex 24 at Daytona. Kligerman is making his debut in the IMSA season-opener.

Big Machine Racing, the team Parker Kligerman has raced full-time for the last two years, is teaming up with Forte Racing. Kligerman and Misha Goikhberg have been announced as drivers. They will pilot the No. 78 Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2.

Bob Pockrass of FOX Sports reported the news this morning. The other drivers will be announced in the near future. Kligerman in the Rolex 24 at Daytona, that’s going to be a lot of fun.

It appears there will be plenty of NASCAR representation at the Rolex 24 at Daytona. Kligerman will be on the track with the elite Trackhouse Racing team. Last year, Forte Racing competed in the GTD class. Trackhouse is in the GTD Pro class.

This goes to show how strong the relationship is between Kligerman and Big Machine Racing. The two have worked hard together to build a respectable Xfinity Series team. Nick Sanchez takes over the No. 48 car next season.

I have a feeling that Kligerman won’t be too far away from NASCAR. Between his broadcasting duties on NBC and whatever else he has in the future, we haven’t seen the last of Parker.

Trackhouse Racing competing in Rolex 24 at Daytona

Shane van Gisbergen, Scott McLaughlin, Connor Zilisch and Ben Keating. Together with TF Sport, this is the Trackhouse Racing lineup for the Rolex 24 at Daytona. Talk about a heavyweight roster.

SVG and McLaughlin are both three-time Supercars champions in Australia. Now they are rising stars in NASCAR and IndyCar, respectively. Zilisch is the most hyped prospect in stock car racing since Joey Logano and maybe even more than Sliced Bread, to be honest.

You add these three talented drivers to a roster with Ben Keating. Keating is an endurance racing veteran and two-time class winner at Le Mans. This Corvette team is going to be a lot of fun to watch.

The Rolex 24 at Daytona should have lots of NASCAR drivers in the field. With how much road course racing has mattered in recent years, it’s just an obvious choice to make. Will we see any more drivers enter the historic endurance race?
