Parker Retzlaff joining Alpha Prime Racing in Xfinity Series for 2025 season
Parker Retzlaff will pilot the No. 4 Chevrolet for Alpha Prime Racing full-time for the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series season, the team announced Wednesday.
Crew chief and sponsorship will be determined at a later date.
Retzlaff, 21, spent the last two seasons behind the wheel of the No. 31 Chevrolet for Jordan Anderson Racing. He finished 16th in the points standings in 2023 and 21st in 2024. Retzlaff’s sophomore campaign was full of challenges, with 12 DNFs in 33 starts. He made two starts in the Cup Series this past season, finishing seventh in the Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona driving the No. 62 Chevrolet for Beard Motorsports.
“I’m humbled, honestly,” Retzlaff said in a press release. “Obviously, I wouldn’t be here without the support of my partners — who I’m really excited to announce later. [Team president] Tommy [Joe Martins] and [team owner] Caesar [Bacarella] have put together an awesome team. It’s a big confidence booster for me to go into 2025 with a group that really wants me here.”

Alpha Prime Racing makes splash signing in Parker Retzlaff
With Retzlaff in the No. 4 car, Brennan Poole will continue to drive the No. 44 in 2025, as he did this past season. Bacarella is confident that Alpha Prime’s two full-time drivers can help the team take a significant leap next season.
“There’s been a lot of ups and downs, but he [Tommy] and I agree it’s all about the people. It’s so hard. We’re racing against the best teams in the world. But we’ve got great people, and that’s what’s made it work,” Bacarella said. “And now we’ve got two ace drivers in the stable full-time.
