Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce picked up another trophy for their already packed mantles Thursday with the Kansas City Chiefs duo defeating Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson in the most recent edition of “The Match.” Mahomes and Kelce won the 12-hole competition, 3&2, over the Splash Brothers.

After the victory, Mahomes gave a shoutout to his teammate, who sunk the winning putt on the 10th hole.

“I mean y’all thought (Travis Kelce) wasn’t going to show up when the lights come on!!” Mahomes tweeted.

The event was the seventh edition of “The Match” and was held at the Wynn Golf Club in Las Vegas. It was also the third time “The Match” finished with a 3&2 final score. Bryson DeChambeau and Aaron Rodgers defeated Phil Mickelson and Tom Brady by that score on July 6, 2021, at The Reserve at Moonlight Basin in Big Sky, Mt. Then Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas topped Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods on Dec 10, 2022, at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Fla.
