The stage is set for an exciting Big Ten clash in Week 12, with the Penn State Nittany Lions traveling to West Lafayette to take on the Purdue Boilermakers.

Ahead of the showdown, FanDuel Sportsbook has released the early point spread for the showdown, and Penn State is favored by 28.5 points at the moment. Additionally, the over/under has been set at 49.5 points for the conference battle.

Moreover, the Nittany Lions and Boilermakers have met 20 times, dating back to 1951. Purdue won the inaugural contest by a score of 28-0, but it’s been all Penn State since then, as they’ve amassed a record of 16-3-1 against Purdue.

Additionally, Penn State hasn’t lost to Purdue since they suffered defeat in back-to-back seasons, which took place in 2003 and 2004. The games haven’t been especially close either, but the Boilermakers did give the Nittany Lions a scare in 2022, the last time these two met, when they lost by four.
