ESPN reveals stacked 'Manning Cast' guest list for Week 8
ESPN and Omaha Productions on Monday afternoon released a guest list for the Week 8 edition of ‘Manning Cast,’ and the Manning brothers have a star-studded group for the New York Giants-Kansas City Chiefs contest.
The four ManningCast guests revealed on Twitter were Jon Stewart, Michael Strahan, Josh Allen and Michael Irvin.
Stewart, a comedian and host of The Problem with Jon Stewart on Apple TV+, was born and raised in New York City, where he first became a big fan of the New York Giants. Fittingly, he’ll speak with not just Eli Manning, who won two Super Bowls and two Super Bowl MVP Awards with the Giants, but also Michael Strahan, a Pro Football Hall of Famer who helped New York take home Super Bowl XLII. Strahan was a seven-time NFL Pro Bowl nominee, and he was named to the NFL 2000s All-Decade team, among other awards. He now serves as a host on ABC’s Good Morning America.
Allen, the fourth-year Buffalo Bills quarterback, recently surpassed Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray as the favorite to take home the NFL MVP Award with 7-2 odds. Allen against the Dolphins completed 69 percent of his passes for 249 passing yards and two touchdowns, while rushing for 55 yards and another touchdown, helping the Bills win 26-11. He’ll join the Manning Cast as the third guest of the night.
Lastly, Irvin, a three-time Super Bowl champion and Pro Football Hall of Famer, played all 11 of his NFL seasons with the Dallas Cowboys and will be the final Manning Cast guest. Selected by the Cowboys in the first round of the 1988 NFL Draft, Irvin went onto make five Pro Bowls and the NFL 1990s All-Decade team, becoming one of the best wide receivers of the 1990s. Irvin now appears on ESPN, where he’s become a frequent contribbutor to First Take with Stephen A Smith.

Manning Cast provides elite guest list for second consecutive week
Last week, the Manning Cast made its long-awaited return to ESPN2, after a three-week hiatus left fans waning more of the popular alternate broadcast.
Hosted by Eli and Peyton Manning, ESPN2 provides a lighthearted, entertaining lens through which the Monday night game is televised, and the alternate feed will make its long-awaited return on Oct. 25. The Manning brothers tell stories from their NFL careers, crack jokes and, of course, break down the game from the perspective of former NFL quarterbacks.
The ManningCast has provided countless gems in its first year of airing, including Eli mistakenly flipping off the cameras, Peyton sharing a funny story about the first time he met Matthew Stafford and guests, like Pat McAfee, sharing incredible stories from their time in the NFL.
With a guest list that includes Stewart, Strahan, Allen and Irvin, the latest edition of the Monday night Manning Cast should pick up right where it left off.
