The Philadelphia 76ers have already been active this morning with the trade deadline coming up in the NBA. That now includes Danuel House as part of another deal to a different team in the Eastern Conference.

Per Adrian Wojnarowski, House and a second-round pick are headed to Detroit.

House is in his eighth professional season out of Texas A&M following two seasons at Houston. He was undrafted out of College Station in 2016 after producing at an All-SEC level over 62 games in a pair of seasons with the Aggies.

Detroit will be the seventh franchise for House since his debut. He has also made stops in Washington, Phoenix, Houston, New York, Utah, and, most recently, Philadelphia.

In just under 300 career appearances, House has averaged 7.3 points and three rebounds. Much of that came over his four-year stint with the Rockets where he averaged 9.2 points and 3.8 rebounds while hitting nearly two threes per game.

That connection eventually led him to Philly due to Daryl Morey, who brought him in in H-Town, coming in as their President of Basketball Operations. In two campaigns with the 76ers, House has averaged 4.6 points in just under 15 minutes in 90 games.

Philadelphia has already made some moves on Thursday ahead of the deadline at 3 p.m. EST. Their most recent one includes House as he will now head to The Motor City and join a Pistons team that is well on their way toward finishing at the bottom of the association’s standings this season.

Pacers trading Buddy Hield to the Philadelphia 76ers

With the arrival of the trade deadline in the NBA, it appears that Buddy Hield, one of the most-discussed players around this time of year, is already on the move.

Shams Charania shared the report of the deal where the Indiana Pacers are sending Hield to the Philadelphia 76ers. Adrian Wojnarowski has since shared the details of the trade. Hield looks to be on the move for a pair of players and three second-round selections.

Hield has played for the Pelicans, Kings, and Pacers in his career. The City of Brotherly Love will now be his fourth home after being traded for the third time.

In 600 career games, he has averaged 15.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.6 assists. He has done so while shooting 43.4% from the field as a 40.1% shooter from three. That proficiency from deep has made him an asset as a pro as he has averaged 3.1 makes per distance.

Over three seasons in Indianapolis, Hield has posted 15.4 points on 40.2% from three and some career-best percentages from the field. In ’23-’24, though, he has been less effective with an average of just a dozen points per game.
