After being selected with the number 13 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft by the Philadelphia Eagles, former Georgia Bulldogs defensive tackle Jordan Davis had a few words for Eagles fans.

“Definitely. I’m excited; I’m ready to get to work, ready to give it everything I can for Philadelphia. It’s my new home. I’m ready to get there,” said Davis.

Davis also shared a few words about learning alongside veteran Pro Bowl defensive tackle for Philadelphia Fletcher Cox.

“Yeah, definitely. Midnight green is gonna look great on me. I’ve been watching Flech ever since I started playing ball. So it’s gonna be great to learn from the best. So I’m ready to get out there and just suck it all in like a sponge.”

According to the team over at the NFL Network, the 2021 Outland Trophy Winner has some serious potential as a pass rusher, and it’s comparable to former all-pro Albert Haynesworth.
