Philadelphia Eagles trade former TCU receiver Jalen Reagor to the Minnesota Vikings
The Philadelphia Eagles are shipping former TCU first-round pick Jalen Reagor to a fellow NFC contender in a trade deal on Wednesday. Reagor is now joining the Minnesota Vikings, according to ESPN insider Adam Schefter.
For the explosive and speedy 5-foot-11 receiver, the Eagles get a 2023 seventh-round pick and a 2024 conditional fourth-round pick. The fourth-round pick would deescalate to a fifth-round pick if certain undisclosed statistical marks are not met.
Drafted with the No. 21 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, Reagor has played 28 games in two seasons so far in the league. In 2021, he played 17 games for the Eagles, posting 33 receptions for 299 yards and two scores.

Despite his high draft status, the former Horned Frogs star wasn’t the team’s top wideout or even the No. 2 wideout. Philadelphia opted to go with another wideout in the first round in the 2021 draft, taking Alabama Heisman Trophy winner DeVonta Smith, who has panned out as planned so far.
In a draft with a historic number of wideouts taken in the first two rounds, Reagor came off the board after Henry Ruggs, Jerry Jeudy and CeeDee Lamb, but before young NFL stars like his new teammate Justin Jefferson, Chase Claypool and Tee Higgins.

Eagles sign La’Mical Perine
As the Eagles traded away Reagor on Wednesday, they also made a pickup on offense. Philly signed former Florida Gators running back La’Mical Perine to the practice squad.
Thus far through his two-year NFL career, Perine has amassed 263 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns. Additionally, the former Florida star has added 11 receptions to his statistics, accumulating 63 total receiving yards.
The Jets drafted Perine out of Gainesville in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft at No. 120 overall.
