After taking damage on the track, Carson Kvapil had to pit and get repairs to his No. 82 car. So, his team got creative and quickly. Without much time, the NASCAR development series pit crew grabbed their pit sign and got to work.

Carson Kvapil raced in the top-5 for most of the race up until the contact with Lavar Scott. Kvapil had an issue, slowed down and Scott had to act quickly to avoid a heavy wreck with the 82 car.

Without much to work with and no live pit stops, the crew grabbed that sign and put it on the quarter panel. They then taped it up, and it looked as good as new.

Carson Kvapil is a hard racer to keep down for too long. With how this race has played out only nine cars are on the lead lap and everyone else is multiple laps down. Things have been intense. There have been wrecks, caution flags, mechanical issues, and more. It has had just about everything you could want in an ARCA race.

Along with Kvapil is his teammate Connor Zilisch. Both Zilisch and Kvapil are future NASCAR drivers. They are both making runs in the JR Motorsports 88 car this season. You will be hard-pressed to find two drivers with more potential in stock car racing right now.

Carson Kvapil running double duty at Dover

This will not be the only race for Carson Kvapil this weekend. He is doing double duty at Dover with the ARCA Menards Series and the Xfinity Series. He was able to earn a top-5 finish at Martinsville in his Xfinity debut.

Kvapil, son of former Truck Series champion Travis Kvapil, has been patient in his development. Driving for JR Motorsports in the CARS Tour, Kvapil has racked up wins and a couple of Late Model Stock championships in the process.

Now it appears that Kvapil is ready to take that next step up to NASCAR. The ARCA Menards Series is going to give him experience at the Monster Mile. Even with his incident on the track, Kvapil is very much in this race with a chance to win.

The final stretch of this race is going to be intense. Drivers have been up and down, damaged and repaired. Lots of emotions and frustrations in a long race at Dover. Will Carson Kvapil bounce back and win this race in the end?
