After popping up on the injury report on Wednesday as a limited participant due to a foot issue, Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris was a full participant on Thursday. That’s a big step in the right direction for the Steelers star before they play the New England Patriots this weekend.

Harris got dinged-up in the Steelers opener — a win against the Cincinnati Bengals — sitting out the overtime. He maintained throughout the week that he will be good to go for the game against the Patriots and that is now looking to be the case.

Offensive lineman Mason Cole remained a limited participant, but everyone else appeared to make progress toward playing for the Steelers. Veteran All-Pro defensive lineman Cam Heyward got the day off on Thursday.

The Patriots have yet to release an injury report from Thursday’s practice. Quarterback Mac Jones has been limited with a back injury. If Jones is unable to play, it’ll likely be Brian Hoyer, a long-time backup quarterback, or Bailey Zappe, the rookie out of Western Kentucky, starting at quarterback for a New England team that already struggled on offense in Week 1.
