Pittsburgh Steelers: Kenny Pickett ruled out versus Tampa Bay with concussion
The Pittsburgh Steelers held Kenny Pickett out after the rookie from Pitt took a hard hit from a defender and slammed his head on impact with the ground. Leading the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 13-12 in the third quarter, Pickett exited the game and backup Mitch Trubisky took the next series. He is now officially out for the rest of the game with a concussion.
The Buccaneer that came in with the tackle was former LSU star Devin White. Prior to his injury, Pickett completed 11-of-18 passes for 67 yards and his first career touchdown pass.
With Trubisky in the game, the Steelers punted after gaining one first down. The veteran went 3-for-5 on his first drive.
