Najee Harris was a full participant in practice for the Pittsburgh Steelers for the second-straight day on Friday after hurting his foot in their Week 1 win against the Cincinnati Bengals. It’s an encouraging sign that the running back will live up to his word and suit up and play on Sunday against the New England Patriots.

It’s really all good news for the Steelers with the Friday injury report: All the players listed were either a full participant or were resting — and that was just veteran Cameron Heyward.

All four players listed for Pittsburgh who weren’t resting — Harris, offensive lineman Mason Cole, cornerback Levi Wallace and linebacker Robert Spillane — all went from limited participants to full through the week.

A fully stocked roster will surely be to Pittsburgh’s benefit, especially having Harris in the backfield.

Things are less rosy for the Patriots. A Friday injury report is yet to be released, but quarterback Mac Jones did not practice on Thursday after sustaining a back injury in Week 1 against the Miami Dolphins.

The Patriots had a number of limited participants, too: linebacker Ja’Whaun Bentley (toe), safety Joshuah Bledsoe (groin), offensive tackle Trent Brown (ankle), safety Adrian Phillips (ribs), running back Pierre Strong Jr. (shoulder) and cornerback Shaun Wade (ankle).

Brown was added to the report on Thursday after not appearing there earlier in the week.
