The Pittsburgh Steelers and Buffalo Bills have released their respective Thursday injury reports ahead of Sunday’s matchup.

Pittsburgh has notably added standout wide receiver Diontae Johnson to the list as a limited participant alongside offensive lineman Mason Cole. Safeties Minkah Fitzpatrick and Terrell Edmunds were allowed to practice in a limited capacity as well after not participating Wednesday.

Five defensive backs and two defensive lineman occupy the eight-man injury report for the Steelers. Defensive coordinator Teryl Austin discussed his plans this weekend if injuries continue to plague his defensive unit.

“We’re going to move forward and we’re going to try to do it with the guys we have, the guys who show up and get them in the best position as possible to give us an opportunity,”  Austin said.

Steelers end impressive NFL streak with matchup against Buffalo

Steelers fans, this might be the best or the worst time to place a bet on the franchise this weekend. Pittsburgh enters Sunday’s matchup with the Buffalo Bills as clear underdogs. But the point spread that they are minus at is something they have not seen since the AFL NFL merger.

As of Tuesday, Pittsburgh is a 14-point underdog against Buffalo. This ends their 52-year streak, dating back to 1970, of never being at least a 14-point underdog. All NFL franchises, except the Steelers until today, have been at that betting line or worse at least once in the modern NFL era.
