Puka Nacua injury update: NFL insider reveals Ram WR status for Week 9 vs. Seahawks
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua is “full-go” on Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks, per Jay Glazer. Nacua was initially questionable to play on Sunday due to a knee injury he suffered at practice on Thursday.
The news is a relief for the Rams, who finally returned the second-year standout last week. It was Nacua’s first time back on the gridiron since suffering a knee injury in the Rams’ Week 1 loss against the Detroit Lions.
His comeback game was nothing short of spectacular. Nacua erupted for seven catches and 106 yards on nine targets, boosting the Rams to a 30-20 win over the Vikings. With the win, the Rams improved to 3-4 on the season.
Nacua’s injury in Week 1 was to his posterior cruciate ligament, which he initially injured in training camp but reaggravated against the Lions. The Rams didn’t rush Nacua’s recovery, hoping to prevent any further aggravation.
After all, the organization plans on Nacua being a cornerstone of its offense for the foreseeable future. In his debut campaign last season, Nacua tallied the most receptions (105) and receiving yards (1,486) by a rookie in NFL history.

Further, Nacua caught nine passes for 181 yards, including a 50-yard touchdown, in the Rams’ 24–23 loss to the Detroit Lions in the NFC Wild Card Round — the most receiving yards in a playoff game by a rookie ever.
Now, Puka Nacua will look to add to his already impressive résumé as the Rams square off against the Seattle Seahawks at 4:25 p.m. ET today. The game will air live on FOX.
It’s a pivotal showdown for the Rams, who currently sit at the bottom of the NFC West Standings. The three other teams above the Rams, including the Seahawks, each have a 4-4 record. With a win on Sunday, the Rams could cause a shift in the divisional standings.
