Alabama select Que Robinson in fourth round of 2025 NFL Draft

Alabama EDGE Que Robinson is officially heading to the NFL. He heard his name called in the 2025 NFL Draft.
The Denver Broncos selected Robinson in the fourth round of the draft. Despite appearing in just nine games in 2024, he put up some of the best numbers of his career at Alabama.
Robinson set a new career-highs with seven tackles for loss and four sacks as a fifth-year senior, while also totaling 23 tackles – one short of his previous career-best set in 2023. However, an elbow injury suffered against LSU cut his year short.
All told, across his final two years at Alabama as a key contributor on defense, Robinson had 47 tackles, 10 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks. He also had two fumble recoveries. Now, he’ll head to the NFL and look to continue building on the positive momentum.
Robinson played high school football at Birmingham (Ala.) Jackson-Olin, where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 72 overall player and No. 3-ranked player in the state of Alabama from the 2020 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

What NFL Draft analysts are saying about Que Robinson
When assessing Que Robinson’s NFL potential, he showed flashes of what he can do at Alabama. As for his athletic fit, NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein called Robinson a “tweener” body who could move more off the ball. That said, he could make an impact on special teams while also carving out a role in the right defensive scheme.
“Fifth-year senior with a ‘tweener’ body type but glimpses of pro potential,” Zierlein wrote. “Robinson played primarily on special teams until 2024. He’s long and athletic but might be too light for the edge. He needs more schooling and game reps to play off the ball.
“He can run the arc as an edge rusher and has the ability to mismatch guards as an off-ball blitzer or spy mobile quarterbacks. Robinson lacks physicality, but he has enough traits to warrant consideration as a four-phase special-teamer with developmental potential as a hybrid 3-4 linebacker.
