The Las Vegas Raiders and Arizona Cardinals matchup made for an incredible finish, after Kyler Murray tied the game with time expiring. Arizona had a chance first in overtime and with a fourth-and-one opportunity outside of field goal range, the Cardinals attempted to win the game with a deep shot to a wide-open Marquise Brown — only for Brown to drop the pass after a huge hit knocked it loose.

With the ball back after the turnover-on-downs, the Raiders had a string of three-straight brutal plays — including two fumbles and a pass that slipped right through an Arizona defender’s fingers. On the second fumble, former Clemson star Isaiah Simmons hit former Tigers teammate Hunter Renfrow as he scrambled for extra yards and Byron Murphy scooped up the ball near the sideline and returned it all the way for a touchdown and the win.

Raiders-Cardinals ends with thrilling overtime finish

The Arizona quarterback kept their chances alive multiple times down the stretch of regulation, including a fourth-down attempt that Murray extended with his legs by dodging the pass rush — eventually resulting in a defensive penalty.

With four more tries from the goal line, Murray finished the fourth and final down with a scramble up the middle for the touchdown. Still down by two points, Arizona attempted the two-point conversion and Murray delivered a strike to the back of the end zone to A.J. Green to tie the game. Replay showed that Green might have bobbled the catch as he went down to the ground, but official review upheld the ruling of a catch and the game went to overtime.

The Cardinals were down 20-0 at halftime, and the unlikely comeback was capped off in a similarly unlikely fashion with the incredible finish. Arizona improves to 1-1 on the season with the win, while the Raiders fall to 0-2.
