Rajah Caruth, Michael McDowell involved in multi-truck wreck late at Daytona

With less than 20 laps to go in the NASCAR Truck Series race at Daytona, we have the biggest wreck of the night, collecting multiple trucks. Rajah Caruth, Michael McDowell, Matt Crafton, and others were involved after Jack Wood was turned into the wall.
Once one truck begins to wreck, it is too late for all of the others to do anything about it. A lot of fast trucks are now damaged. Ben Rhodes appeared to give a bad push to the right rear of Wood and it was a mess after that.
Eight drivers in total were involved in this wreck. Rajah Caruth and Michael McDowell both took nasty licks into the inside wall. Toni Breidinger was in this wreck as well, she had fought back from a lap down twice tonight.
A few hard hits in this one.
Tonight’s race was more or less devoid of incidents. For the most part, it has been single-truck incidents that have brought caution flags out. This multi-truck wreck changes this race completely.
Daytona can be so unforgiving. Drivers can be patient all night long and have their hopes dashed in one moment.

Rajah Caruth wrecks, Parker Kligerman wins at Daytona
We likely won’t see a celebration quite as big and boisterous as Parker Kligerman this weekend, and that is just fine. Kligerman let the NASCAR faithful know how much he appreciates them after his huge win at Daytona.
Parker Kligerman retired from full-time NASCAR racing at the end of last season. Coming back this year part-time with Henderson Motorsports, Kligerman already has a win to his name in 2025.
After all of the heartbreak and close calls in the Xfinity Series, a return to the Truck Series cures Parker’s ailments. He was pumped to get the big win in front of the Daytona crowd.
“Daytona Regan, come on! Let’s go! Biggest win of my entire life. … I’m out of breath I can’t believe it, I was just making moves and just like, I don’t even, I just – every move I made felt like it worked,” Kligerman said, excitedly. “And for some reason it really did and these guys built an amazing truck. I can’t believe we’re here.”
