Ravens OL Morgan Moses fined $13,659 for using camera during touchdown celebration
The National Football League has been known for decades as the No Fun League. The league fines their players for petty and meaningless things that are rather harmless. It took the league decades to embrace the players actually celebrating touchdowns. So, it should come as no surprise, when on Saturday afternoon, former Virginia offensive lineman Morgan Moses was fined $13,659 for using a photographer’s camera after a touchdown in the Ravens-Texans AFC Divisional playoff game last weekend.
The Baltimore Ravens are having one of the best seasons in franchise history. And the play of their dynamic dual-threat, Lamar Jackson, is a massive part of that. In the Ravens’ 34-10 win over the Texans, he completed 72.7% of his passes for 152 passing yards, while rushing for 100 yards. He threw for two touchdowns and ran for two touchdowns. Not only that, Jackson became the first quarterback with four touchdowns, 100-plus rushing yards, and no interceptions in a playoff game.
The Ravens will face off against the Kansas City Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes on Sunday in the 2024 AFC Championship Game. The winner will punch their ticket to the biggest game in the NFL–the Super Bowl. The game will be played at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore. Kickoff is set for 3:00 PM EST and the game will be nationally televised on CBS.
The Ravens have won eight of their last 10 games and there’s a reason they are the No. 1 seed in the AFC. They’ve been playing that way for much of the 2023-2024 campaign.

Moses is currently on his third team in the National Football League (Redskins, Jets, and Ravens). He was drafted by the Washington Redskins in the third round of the 2014 NFL Draft, signing a four-year $3.05 million deal on May 29th, 2014. He eventually signed a five-year extension with the franchise on April 27th, 2017.
He eventually found his way to the Ravens, when he was signed to a three-year deal in March of 2022. Luckily for Moses, Baltimore has had an impressive season and he’s gotten to enjoy the ride.
In his college playing days, Moses suited up for the Virginia Cavaliers, where he earned third team All-ACC honors in 2013. Moses played prep football with Fork Union Military Academy–one of the nation’s top prep programs many years ago. He was rated as one of the top offensive linemen in the country coming out of Meadowbrook High School (Chesterfield, Virginia), earning Parade All-American honors and SuperPrep All-American honors. Moses was ranked as the No. 3 run blocker in the 2009 cycle, according to Rivals.com.
