Red Bull re-entering NASCAR in partnership with Trackhouse Racing
In a huge partnership, Red Bull is re-entering NASCAR in a new deal with Trackhouse Racing. The energy drink brand left the sport in 2011. This is perhaps the most significant sponsorship deal in recent years.
Trackhouse Racing started to get the ball rolling when they signed Shane van Gisbergen. He has been a Red Bull athlete for years. The drink brand became heavily invested in the team when they signed 18-year-old Connor Zilisch as a Red Bull athlete as well.
Adam Stern of Sports Business Journal reported on the deal this morning. Trackhouse x Red Bull. What a great deal for Justin Marks and for NASCAR.
Red Bull is going to be on the No. 88 car of Shane van Gisbergen for five races this season. Better yet, they are going to sponsor Connor Zilisch in his Cup Series debut at COTA. Zilisch will pilot the No. 87 for Trackhouse Racing.
This is a major development in the sport. There aren’t that many dates, this year. But who knows this Red Bull sponsorship could go from five races to ten or more in a couple of years. It’s just nice to have one of the most recognizable brands in motorsports back in NASCAR.
The paint schemes for SVG and Zilisch are fantastic as well. I feel like this is a dream and not real life looking at a Red Bull Next Gen car.

Justin Marks brought Red Bull back to NASCAR
What Justin Marks has done in just a handful of years cannot be discredited in the slightest. He is pushing the limits of what a modern NASCAR Cup Series team should be, should look like, and how they should conduct business.
That’s why this partnership is probably one of his most satisfying deals.
“It’s an incredible chapter in the history of Trackhouse Racing to welcome Red Bull back to NASCAR,” said Trackhouse founder and owner Justin Marks. “Red Bull is one of the most powerful brands in the world and it’s an honor for us to embark on a partnership with such an iconic company.
“Red Bull and Trackhouse share a passion for racing, stories, and memorable experiences. This is a huge win for our sport and a moment that will resonate with the millions of NASCAR fans around the world. I’m thrilled for Connor, Shane, and every member of Trackhouse to partner with who I consider to be the greatest motorsport company in the world. We are more than honored to welcome Red Bull to the Trackhouse Racing family.”
So, are you hyped yet? SVG will have Red Bull as his sponsor a few times later this year. Las Vegas first. Then he will carry the colors at Sonoma, Iowa, Daytona-2, and Kansas-2.
