According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Dallas Cowboys have signed wide receiver Parris Campbell to a one-year deal. Campbell is now on his third NFC East franchise in as many seasons, previously playing for the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants.

“Former Eagles free-agent WR Parris Campbell reached agreement today on a one-year deal with the Dallas Cowboys, per source,” Schefter said via X. “The Cowboys become the third NFC East team for which Campbell has played.”

Indianapolis drafted Campbell back in 2019 with the No. 59 overall pick in the second round. Playing time has been hard to come by since entering the league with only 49 appearances and 27 starts over six seasons.

Campbell signed with Philadelphia last season and was a part of the Super Bowl run, playing in five games. He caught six passes on eight targets for 30 yards and a touchdown. The Eagles did use him during the playoffs too but no statistics were recorded.

Outside of CeeDee Lamb, wide receiver has been a big question for Dallas this offseason. Brandin Cooks is not expected to return while Kavontae Turpin resigned with the hopes of using the special teams star more at receiver. Right now, there is no clear No. 2 guy on the roster to play alongside Lamb.

Campbell should be a welcomed addition with a role in the offense being there for the taking. It’s a position the Cowboys could look at in the NFL Draft but at the very least, Campbell provides veteran experience.

Dallas Cowboys sign Dante Fowler to one-year contract

An old face is returning to a familiar place in Dallas. Dante Fowler has reportedly agreed to a one-year deal with the Cowboys worth $8 million, according to Jeff Howe of The Athletic.

The former Florida Gators star spent two seasons with the Cowboys, prior to joining the Washington Commanders in 2024. Now, he’ll stay in the NFC East, but head back to Dallas, as the team shores up its defensive line amid the departure of players like DeMarcus Lawrence and Chauncey Golston.

Fowler is the latest addition among the team’s defensive line, as he’ll join star Micah Parsons and free agent addition Solomon Thomas. The Cowboys have been maligned throughout the past week, as they’ve let some talented players go, and some even had parting shots for Dallas on their way out.
