The Dallas Cowboys have signed Virginia tight end Tyler Neville as an undrafted free agent, according to a report from NFL insider Jordan Schultz. He played just one season with the Cavaliers after spending the first three years of his career at Harvard and will now get a shot in the pros.

Neville finished with a career-high 394 yards receiving along with two touchdowns on 37 catches. That put him over the 1,000-yard mark for his career, during which he also caught 10 touchdowns.

The 6-foot-4 tight end is an experienced player who started 36 of 42 games across his four-year college career. His best game this past year came in Week 2 against Wake Forest, when he recorded four catches for 68 yards and two touchdowns.

Neville played high school football at Lafayette in Williamsburg, Virginia, where he was a three-star recruit. He ranked as the No. 2,519 overall player and No. 118 tight end in the 2020 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Neville will join a Cowboys team coming off of a 7-10 finish this past season to miss out of the playoffs. He’ll look to prove himself in training camp among a tight ends room that includes Jake Ferguson, Luke Schoonmaker, Brevyn Spann-Ford and Princeton Fant.

Although he didn’t hear his name called in the 2025 NFL DraftTraeshon Holden is still signing a contract. The former Oregon star is set to sign with the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted free agent, FOX Sports’ Jordan Schultz reported.

That came after an impressive junior year when he had 452 yards and six touchdowns.

Prior to his arrival in Eugene, Holden played three years at Alabama. His biggest season in Tuscaloosa was his last when he had 331 yards and six touchdowns as a junior in 2022. Now, he’ll look to carve out a role with the Cowboys and go through camp in Dallas.

Holden played high school football at Harbor City (Calif.) Narbonne, where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 194 overall player from the 2020 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
