Report: Dallas Police not pursuing charges against Dak Prescott for alleged sexual assault
Back in February, a woman accused Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott of sexual assault from an incident back in 2017. The Dallas Police Department has since investigated the matter and reportedly decided Prescott will not be charged with anything.
WFAA in Dallas says the Attorney’s Office could not find any evidence to support what the woman was accusing Prescott of.
“The Dallas Police Department will not pursue criminal charges against Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott after a woman accused him of sexual assault, sources confirm to WFAA,” the report said. “Sources tell WFAA the department found no evidence to support the woman’s claim, and the District Attorney’s Office says it has no case.”
Levi McCathern, the lawyer of Prescott, released a statement to WFAA on the matter as well.
“The Defendants’ Motion to Dismiss is total nonsense,” McCathern said. “They have yet again misrepresented the relevant facts and misconstrued the law as it applies to them. We are going to show, plain and simple, that this case is about the ridiculous attempt by Victoria ‘Bailey’ Shores and her lawyers, Yoel and Bethel Zehaie, to extort Dak Prescott out of $100 million based on fabricated allegations, which could not be further from the truth. And, now that Dallas County has rightfully closed its investigation into the Defendants’ false allegations regarding Mr. Prescott, we intend on promptly filing claims against the Defendants for malicious prosecution.”

Dak Prescott excited to have Ezekiel Elliott back with Cowboys
He might be wearing a different number but an old friend is back in the Dallas Cowboys facility for the 2024 season. Prescott will be reunited with running back Ezekiel Elliott, with the Cowboys signing him to a one-deal. Elliott spent last season in New England with the Patriots.
When asked about reporters, Prescott spoke about how excited he is to have Elliott back in the locker room. He should be able to help on the field as well, with running back being a real position of need right now for Dallas.
“Obviously, just knowing our history, my experience with him as a brother, but in this case, as a teammate, understanding what he brings to the team, the locker room alone, the culture he sets. A guy that does everything the right way, from the locker room to the field. With us having a young team, bringing guys in, people can follow him and watch him.”
