Report: Packers interest level in Odell Beckham Jr. revealed
Odell Beckham Jr. reportedly has a preferred landing spot in the Green Bay Packers. However, it takes two to tango. While Beckham wants to play with the Packers, it ultimately comes down to Green Bay’s interest level in the star wide receiver.
According to NFL Analysis Network‘s Evan Massey, the Packers front office isn’t exactly rolling out the red carpet for Beckham.
“Per source, at this point in time, Odell Beckham Jr. still would prefer to sign with the #Packers. However, Green Bay’s front office has not been as aggressive as others,” tweeted Massey. “They do have interest though. If they come through with competitive offer, Beckham will likely sign with GB.”
Evidently, the Packers have a leg-up in the sweepstakes. Still, teams like the New Orleans Saints and New England Patriots are making pushes. Additionally, the Seahawks and Russell Wilson want Beckham in Seattle.
As Odell Beckham Jr. mulls over his options, the world awaits his decision. Whether it’s the Packers or another squad, it remains to be seen if Beckham can become a difference-maker once again.

Best odds for Beckham Jr.’s next NFL landing spot
With the former LSU star on the open market, the bets on where he’ll sign can now begin. Here are the current odds and the likely landing spots for the former Browns receiver.
- New Orleans Saints (+300)
- Las Vegas Raiders (+350)
- Baltimore Ravens (+400)
- New England Patriots (+500)
- Los Angeles Chargers (+600)
- Buffalo Bills (+700)
- Indianapolis Colts (+800)
- San Francisco 49ers (+900)
- Green Bay Packers (+1000)
- Kansas City Chiefs (+1200)
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+1500)
There are undoubtedly a few NFL teams that could use Beckham Jr. right now. Even if he isn’t at the same elite level he flashed in his early years, he could still provide value and depth to a wide receiver room.
The top of the list makes a lot of sense as potential landing spots. The Saints lack a true top-end wide receiver, especially now that Michael Thomas will miss the entire season. Moreover, Las Vegas just lost Henry Ruggs III after he was arrested for a fatal DUI crash. Additionally, Baltimore could also use more talent in the wide receiver room, as could New England.
Odell Beckham Jr. is likely to prefer a team where he can play a role right away. Wherever that may be, building chemistry and comfortability will be pivotal if the former star is to rebuild his NFL career.
