With the remarkable success of the Washington Commanders offensive attack and dual-threat quarterback Jayden Daniels, of course Kliff Kingsbury’s name has popped up in the coaching carousel yet again. But for now, he’s locked in on Washington’s season and will determine if he wants to interview for the New Orleans Saints head coaching position at a later date, according to Nick Underhill. He won’t begin looking at his options until they are done playing.

Washington and Philadelphia will face off at 3:00 PM EST on Sunday, January 26th in the 2025 NFC Championship Game. The winner will punch their tickets to the Super Bowl.

Kingsbury returned to the NFL after spending 2023 as the Senior Offensive Analyst at USC under Lincoln Riley after spending the previous four seasons as the head coach for the Arizona Cardinals.

This offseason Kingsbury also applied for offensive coordinator jobs with the Philadelphia Eagles, Chicago Bears, and the Las Vegas Raiders. Withdrawing his name from consideration for the Las Vegas Raiders job on Saturday with Las Vegas expected to hire Luke Getsy as their next OC.
