RFK Racing announces David Ragan as third NASCAR Cup Series driver for Daytona 500
RFK Racing has announced they’re entering a third car into February’s running of the Daytona 500.
We’ve seen teams in the past add drivers to their lineup for The Great American Race. Evidently, that’s what RFK will be doing, as they announced on Wednesday that David Ragan will be joining Brad Keselowski and Chris Buescher in Daytona.
Alas, this past season was a fantastic one for RFK Racing. Both Keselowski and Buescher made the Cup Series playoffs, with the latter winning a couple of races as well. They’ll be hoping for bigger and better things come 2024.
It all starts in Daytona. We can’t wait to see what RFK Racing brings next season, and they’ll certainly be one of the favorites come time.
Brad Keselowski ‘pleased not satisfied’ with RFK Racing after 2023 season
After a big step up this season for RFK Racing, Brad Keselowski isn’t ready to say that the job is done yet, but he’s happy. There were a lot of positive steps this season. Both Keselowski and Chris Buescher made the NASCAR Playoffs. Also, Buescher won three races in 2023.
With the season behind us, Brad Keselowski has looked things over. As a team owner and driver, he has a lot of responsibilities. He has to look at the season and be as objective as possible so his organization can improve.

While he is happy with the progress that has been made, he wants more. The 2012 NASCAR Champion is looking forward to more next season.
“I think the overarching theme is please not satisfied,” Keselowski said on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio. “Pleased with the progress, not satisfied with where we’re at. I felt like there were times last year where we didn’t look that great and then there were a lot of times last year, especially around the late summer where I felt like we looked like two of the best cars on the track.
“It didn’t all click when it needed to. That’s part of racing, that’s part of sports and life. If we get it all to click we can be a championship contender with both cars. So, pleased that we’re able to say that, we wouldn’t have been able to say that last year. But not satisfied that we weren’t able to realize it. Especially in those final eight races, or probably in the final four or six races. That’s the challenge for us ahead is getting us to a spot where we can realize that with results.”
2024 could be massive for Brad Keselowski and RFK.
