Rich Eisen speculates Dallas Cowboys are 'all-out' on own free agents

When free agency opens in around a week, the Dallas Cowboys will have a ton of players set to be on the open market. A lot of work will need to be done in order to build the 2025 roster. Dallas usually loves to keep their own guys while being hesitant to sign too many players from the outside.
Rich Eisen says a mindset change might be occurring. After being at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis, Eisen says the Cowboys are “all-out” on their own free agents this offseason. This would then allow for the “selectively aggressive” from the front office approach to come into play.
“The Cowboys are all-out on many of their own free agents,” Eisen said. “So, it sounds like to me that your team is going to go shopping and be selectively aggressive as Stephen Jones said. Because they’ve got a ton of free agents and I heard they’re all-out on many of them. Osa Odighizuwa is not one of them.”
Thankfully for Cowboys fans, there is nothing to worry about with Odighizuwa. Eisen did the segment before the contract extension was announced on Tuesday. Odighizuwa will be in Dallas for the next four years with an average annual compensation of $20 million.
Viewed as a massively important piece from the start, getting a deal done with Odighizuwa always appeared to be the first priority. A big win to keep one of the team’s breakout players from a year ago.

Offensive lineman Brock Hoffman and defensive back/special teams star CJ Goodwin resigned with the team on Tuesday as well, securing their futures. But as for everybody else? Eisen believes some massive roster changes are coming to Dallas.
“Everybody else might need to have their head on a swivel,” Eisen said. “It seems like there’s going to be some turnover after all.”
The new league year is set to begin on March 12 at 4 p.m. ET. Teams can legally begin to tamper with free agents a couple of days prior before the deals become official. Plenty of big-named players are expected to be on the move this offseason.
Eisen did not specifically say if the Dallas Cowboys would be in play for somebody of that magnitude but does believe change is coming. Plenty of information is distributed throughout the NFL Combine and one year after being “all-in,” hearing “all-out” on players who were on the roster is a surprise.
