Rowdy is feeling like a Rebel in 2025. Kyle Busch will bring Rebel Bourbon back to the NASCAR Cup Series on his No. 8 Chevrolet. Busch will be teamed up with the Bardstown, Kentucky business for the first time this year at COTA this March.

There will be other races for Kyle Busch and Rebel Bourbon in 2025. But that first start will come at Circuit of the Americas. A little road course action, and a road course that Busch has had a lot of good runs at.

Landing these partnerships is major for RCR and Busch. Remember, he left Joe Gibbs Racing due to a lack of sponsorship. Gibbs was willing to put up his own money to have Busch in a car, but the driver didn’t want to go that route.

Now with RCR he has very recognizable, and returning, sponsors.

“We can’t wait to keep the excitement going in 2025 after connecting with thousands of Rebel, Kyle Busch and RCR fans last season who have a rebellious spirit and live against the grain,” said Philip Lux, brand manager for Rebel Bourbon. “We’re building on the success of year one with a lot more in store for fans at the track, in race markets and at retail plus a lot of interactive social content in year two.”

Part of the partnership this season includes a brand-new paint scheme. Fans love those schemes and this one is going to give folks a different look at the brand for the third year.

Kyle Busch will have new Rebel paint scheme in 2025

That scheme was revealed back in December. The hood and greenhouse of the car are designed like an oak barrel. Meanwhile, the bottom half of the car is painted black, resembling the whisky fungus that grows on buildings near distilleries.

Rebel and Rowdy get one another. This is a driver-sponsor pairing that works well. In 2025, I think we are going to see a different Kyle Busch. He went winless for the first time in his career in 2024 and that can’t be extended to a two-year winless streak.

Of course, Rebel Bourbon wants to get to victory lane. They have a good driver to get the job done with. Imagine how the whisky will flow if they get the job done this year.

That race at COTA is a sneaky good one for Kyle Busch. He has three top-10s, including a runner-up finish, in four races there. While he hasn’t won a road course in some time, I expect him to have a really good run in Austin, Texas. Maybe Rebel will get to celebrate that weekend.
