In a strange, fake “beef” between Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Noah Gragson on social media, another wrinkle was added this weekend. The two NASCAR drivers are good friends and not really upset with one another, at least, that is how Stenhouse told it at Phoenix.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Noah Gragson have colluded with one another in this beef. The Hyak Motorsports driver said he gave Gragson a heads-up last week before tweeting at him.

I’m not sure if he got the heads-up this week. The video below shows the dash cam from Shane van Gisbergen’s car at Phoenix. It appears Cole Custer had help spinning Stenhouse Jr. on Sunday. Help from the 4 car.

Always quick with the replies, Noah didn’t let this one sit long before shooting a message back. He stuck with a classic quote that many racing fans are familiar with.

In the end at Phoenix, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. got the last laugh. Well, I’m not sure either driver was laughing. Stenhouse finished P21 and Gragson brought his car home P26. Despite the early spin, the 47 was still able to beat out its rival in the 4 car.

Despite both drivers having a top-10 finish this season, Stenhouse is in a much better position. He is 14th in points, imagine that, after four races. His top-5 at Atlanta helped a lot. Stenhouse has 96 points, 13 points out of the top-10.

Meanwhile, Gragson is 31st with 53 points. He has a top-10 from COTA. But the points are not adding up. Stenhouse has only 10 stage points but Gragson has a single point. Stenhouse has been finishing well at the end of races while Gragson has not.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. admitted Noah Gragson beef not real

Unless we see something physical happen at the track in the future, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Noah Gragson are on good terms. They appear to just be having fun online. So, don’t worry, no big deal.

“There’s no history there,” Stenhouse said at Phoenix. “Noah likes to have a lot of fun and give people a hard time so I like giving it back to him. Before I sent one, a tweet, back to him yesterday I told him I was sending one and he says, ‘Well I’ve got one in the chamber ready to send back.’ You know, I don’t know, he seems like he has a ton of free time on his hands.

“So, I’m sure he’s always looking for ways to spice things up. No, we’re friends but it’s definitely fun. I think, he’s uh, he’s obviously got a lot of energy and excitement around him and so, yeah, I like to give it back to him a little bit.”

In NASCAR, everyone is friends until they aren’t. We will see how long these two have a friendly beef.
