New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft ran into a familiar face at the Grammys on Sunday. Kraft shared a moment with music superstar Taylor Swift, before heading inside of Crypto.com Arena.
Kraft spoke with Extra ahead of the Grammys about Taylor Swift and how much he appreciates her recent interest in football.
Swift is, of course, dating Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce.
“Well, it’s great,” Robert Kraft said. “We at the NFL want young gals, young women, so she’s been a great magnet for that, and I hope it’s helped her. … I think she’s written 300 songs, which is really amazing.”

Taylor Swift and Robert Kraft also saw each other earlier this season when the Chiefs faced the Patriots at Gillette Stadium.
Swift attended the game on Dec. 17 and watched as the Chiefs earned a 27-17 victory. She also received a gift from Kraft and the Patriots that day.
“We’re proud to say that her first stadium concert ever was at Gillette Stadium, June 5, 2010,” Kraft said. “So when she came to watch Travis play, we gave her a framed ticket from that concert. So she’s a very nice person.”
Here’s the moment the two met before the Grammys.
Now Swift is off to resume her tour in Japan, before returning to the United States for the Super Bowl on Sunday.
Jerry Rice shares his thoughts on Taylor Swift’s exposure in NFL
In addition to Robert Kraft, former NFL star Jerry Rice is also excited to see Taylor Swift bringing more eyes to the NFL.

Ahead of the Super Bowl, Tom Pelissero asked Jerry Rice if there was any pop culture phenomenon comparable to Taylor Swift when he was a player.
“No,” Jerry Rice admitted. “I’m a Swiftie…I’m just joking. I’m joking about that but, you know, just watching her, she’s really into the game of football and everybody loves her. So, the audience has gotten so much bigger. She’s done so much for the NFL.”
Ahead of a game-winning drive in the Super Bowl, quarterback Joe Montana famously pointed out actor John Candy in the stands. That was a team Jerry Rice was on and a huddle he would’ve been in. Still, Candy apparently didn’t have the star power to match what’s going on in the NFL with Swift.
Taylor Swift began attending Kansas City games this season as her relationship with tight end Travis Kelce became more public. With that came more than a little media attention as well as fans of hers coming to football as a sport for the first time.
“And Travis, he’s balling right now and we’ve got to take him out of the game,” Rice concluded.
