Romeo Doubs injury update: Packers WR status revealed for Thanksgiving game vs. Dolphins
The Green Bay Packers will be without some key players for their Thanksgiving night matchup against the Miami Dolphins, including wide receiver Romeo Doubs. The final injury report for the Week 13 game was released on Wednesday, and the Packers have ruled out Doubs (concussion), cornerback Jaire Alexander (knee) and linebacker Edgerrin Cooper (hamstring).
The rest of the Packers’ injury report includes tight end John Fitzpatrick (back), linebacker Isaiah McDuffie (ankle) and offensive lineman Josh Meyers (pectoral), and all three have been ruled as questionable for Thursday.
Doubs, Alexander and Cooper were all estimated as non-participants in practice this week. Doubs suffered a concussion after catching three passes for 54 yards in last weekend’s game against the San Francisco 49ers. In 10 games this year, Doubs has caught 34 passes for 483 yards and two touchdowns.
This will be the second game Doubs will miss this season. Earlier this year, the Packers suspended Doubs for one game for missing two das of practice and meetings.

“I’d say there was some things going on off the field,” he told reporters at the time, without elaborating. “As far as just the organization and the (coaching) staff, the players, there’s nothing going on within that area. So I just want to make myself clear there.”

Alexander has been dealing with a knee injury for the last few weeks. He did not play in the 49ers game and saw limiated against the Chicago Bears the previous weekend.
“I just tried to give it a go . . . I went out there and shit, all I could really give was 10 plays and then it — I felt something,” Alexander said last week. If you know how [PCLs] work, it don’t just get done in three weeks, so it just needed more time. I reaggravated it going back out there and only doing 10 plays, so now we just trying to get my knee back right.”
The Dolphins will also be missing three players as linebacker Tyus Bowser (knee/calf), cornerback Kendall Fuller (concussion) and linebacker Anthony Walker (hamstring) have been ruled out. The Packers vs. Dolphins Thanksgiving matchup will air on NBC at 8:30 p.m. ET.
