Ross Chastain changed how he drinks after going to 'beer school'
There is going to be a new Busch Light guy next year. The partnership has already changed how Ross Chastain drinks his brew. After going to “beer school,” Chastain made a big move. No more cans or bottles for the NASCAR driver.
Ahead of the Crayon 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Chastain is still taking questions about the new sponsorship for 2024. Talking to the media, Chastain was asked if he had thought about what it takes to “look” like the beer guy. For Ross, it comes naturally.
“I know I am already, so, I know I already drink Buch Light,” Chastain said, via Bob Pockrass of Fox Sports. “So, it’s not unnatural to have one. Going to beer school was cool to learn the differences in drinking from a can or a bottle, from a package, and then actually pouring it in a glass and stuff. I’ve actually switched, I usually drink most of mine out of a glass now, because it’s a better way to do it. But a cold beer is fine by me.”
So, has he converted the people of Alva, Florida to take the time to pour their beer than to drink it from the bottle or can? Well…no.
“No, no, no,” Chastain continued. “But we’ve already got Busch Light in most of their hands. What’s crazy Bob, is it was my beer before this. So, most people don’t believe me just like they don’t believe that I didn’t think about the Hail Melon before it happened. This stuff is coming together so naturally that it’s really cool.”

Ross Chastain, Busch Light in 2024
There are few companies that put as much money and sponsorship effort into NASCAR as Busch Light. Over the years, it has become a staple sponsor, one of the most recognizable in all of sports. The pole award is sponsored by Busch Light. There are massive signs and banners at pretty much every track with their logo. When drivers win in Victory Lane, 9 times out of 10, there is a Busch Light nearby.
The partnership is one that will surely send Trackhouse Racing to the next level in NASCAR. Think of the exposure and money this brings the organization on top of its already exciting and fun reputation.
Mr. Worldwide, Pitbull is a co-owner. They have one of the best international drivers in Daniel Suárez competing full-tie. They have the Melon Man himself, Ross Chastain who is changing NASCAR rules with his driving style. Oh, and they brought Shane van Gisbergen to Chicago and came out with a win on the streets.
There is so much momentum for Trackhouse and Ross Chastain. But what do we think about Chastain’s switch to glasses only? I’m sure cans will do just fine in Victory Lane.
