Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson went with a Halloween costume that will get plenty of attention in Colorado. The veteran quarterback decided to go with the “Coach Prime” look for the holiday.

Wilson sported a “Prime” sweatshirt, sunglasses and hat to pull off the Deion Sanders look for Halloween. He then posted an image to X, along with the caption “Coach Prime in the House Recruitin’. #PlayMyThemeMusic.”

Wilson sported the outfit for a Broncos Halloween party.

That’s probably a pretty popular choice in the state, with Sanders receiving a lot of attention since taking the Colorado job. Although, things haven’t really gone as planned for the Buffaloes recently.

Colorado started the year 3-0. Since then, it’s been tough sledding, going just 1-4 in the last five contests. That includes blowing a 29-0 lead against Stanford, which had just one victory on the season at the time. Overall, the Buffaloes sit at 4-4 on the year.

Although the Broncos continue to struggle this season, Wilson was all smiles for the Halloween party. He led Denver to an impressive 24-9 victory over Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.

Wilson completed 12-of-19 passes for 114 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions. He also ran for 30 yards in the victory.

That makes Halloween just a little bit more fun.

Broncos troll Chiefs after Sunday’s win

It was a great weekend in Denver … and that’s not something that’s been said too frequently this year. The Broncos own just a 3-5 record through the first eight games, but got a big victory on Sunday over the Chiefs.

So, what happens when you secure a huge victory? You troll the other team. Denver had perfect ammunition given the Travis Kelce-Taylor Swift romance, too.

Following the Broncos’ win on Sunday, the stadium blasted a Swift song over the loudspeaker to celebrate. You have to admit, it’s kind of perfect:

Mahomes didn’t have his best performance on Sunday, throwing two interceptions without a touchdown. He threw for 241 yards while completing 24-of-38 attempts.

Kelce ended the contest as the team’s top receiver, hauling in six passes for 58 yards on nine targets.

Sunday’s loss was just Kansas City’s second of the season. The Chiefs dropped the opener to the Detroit Lions but won six straight until the trip to Denver.
