In the heat of battle, Ryan Blaney got frustrated and the some with Kyle Larson as he tried to make a pass into the top-5. Larson didn’t give his fellow NASCAR Championship 4 driver a break, and he shouldn’t. It produced a hilarious quote on Blaney’s radio, though.

As Ryan Blaney moved through the field, he had to pass Larson. He made his way from the mid-teens to start this race and got to the top-5 in Stage 2. So, when he was trying to pass Larson and couldn’t do it, Blaney got mad.

On his radio, Blaney started to go off on Larson, even threatening to wreck him if he tried to block him again.

“F***ing piece of s**t, air-blocking motherf***er. He’s getting sent next time,” Blaney said on the radio, via Dustin Albino.

Roger Penske told him to keep cool.

Of course, this isn’t the only time these two drivers met on the track. Throughout the second stage, Blaney and Larson found themselves next to each other. So, Blaney just has to deal with that as much as he can.

Emotions are running high. Ryan Blaney and Kyle Larson both want a championship at the end of the night. So, they’re going to race hard for it. That means earning every position on the track.

Ryan Blaney gets a big break, Christopher Bell out

As the Championship 4 drivers battled in the top-10 against each other, Ryan Blaney was right there. He had a good hold on things, he caught William Byron and looked like the best car on the track in the long run.

Then, Christopher Bell hit the wall. Before you knew it, Bell had blown his brake rotor and his day was done. It was sudden and abrupt. It also stinks that Bell won’t get to race this one to the end. This race felt like it could come down to the four drivers going head-to-head for the finish.

While that stinks for Bell, Blaney and the others get a break. Racing two drivers is easier than racing three. I’m sure the others are hoping that the same thing happens to the remaining championship drivers.

Right now, Ross Chastain, Kevin Harvick, Chris Buescher, and Martin Truex Jr. are all better than the Championship 4. So, will we see the championship race play out in the top-5 while the race winner spoils the party as a non-championship driver?
