Ryan Preece barrel rolls through the infield in late wreck at Daytona

Just as the final 10 laps were winding down, Ryan Preece got sideways. His car spun out, caught air, and then flipped through the infield. Preece was able to get out of the car and stand with some help from the NASCAR AMR Safety team. The safety team reacted quickly and got to him within seconds.
Ryan Preece came across his teammate, Chase Briscoe, and then started to lift once it hit the grass. Once it got going, the car continued to flip around. The 3500-lb car flipped multiple times in the air before hitting the ground again.
Thankfully, the car landed on its wheels and Preece was able to get out and walk to the ambulance to be taken to the infield care unit.

Ryan Preece was placed on a stretcher before he was loaded into the ambulance and taken to the care center. Following the race, which Chris Buescher won, a number of Stewart-Haas Racing crew and drivers made their way to the center to check on him.
In what was the most violent and unfortunate wreck in the Next Gen era, fans want to know that Preece is going to be alright. NASCAR usually tweets when drivers are released from the care center.
