New York Liberty stars Sabrina Ionescu and Breanna Stewart sported their signature shoes during a Saturday afternoon showdown with the Los Angeles Sparks. And the footwear the duo wore was apparently quite popular.

The ESPN broadcast, while showing the kicks Ionescu and Stewart had on, noted on the broadcast graphics lower third that searches for their respective shoes were “breakout searches” in the United States, per Google. Those looking up the shoes will find a bevy of options, but perhaps not the exact ones they saw on the court on Saturday.

Ionescu wore a pair of her signature Nike shoes, the Sabrina 1s, with a mocha brown base accented with a cream sole and white on the sides.

Stewart had a bit more color popping with a pair of her new line with some azure leading the way on her Puma Stewie 3s, the base color contrasted with a lighter blue tropical, floral pattern on white soles.

Stewart made some NBA history in the first half against the Sparks

Stewart dominated early against the Sparks in WNBA record-breaking fashion.

In Saturday’s opening half, she scored 24 points, with five assists, five blocks and three steals.

Stewart became the first player in WNBA history to score at least 20 points, with five assists and five blocks in a half. Your turn, rest of WNBA.

The league shared a montage of her first-half highlights. Stewart scored from inside and out, going eight of 10. Specifically, she nailed three of her five three-point attempts.

Another WNBA record recently fell

As a truly special crop of WNBA rookies get settled in at the professional level, they continue to do some remarkable things. Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese is the latest to do just that, setting a WNBA record on Thursday afternoon in a game against the Dallas Wings.

Entering the game, Reese had racked up six consecutive double-doubles, tying her with Tina Charles and Cindy Brown for the most by a rookie in WNBA history.

With a monster performance against the Wings, in which Reese tallied 16 points and 18 rebounds, she became the stand-alone leader with seven straight double-doubles.

During that seven-game stretch, Reese has averaged 14.1 points and 12.7 rebounds.
