Saints rookie QB Jake Haener takes hysterical post-draft rookie photoshoot
There’s nothing wrong with feeling yourself a little, especially during a photoshoot. For New Orleans Saints QB Jake Haener, though, he took it to a whole other level with his portraits from the NFLPA Rookie Premiere.
Haener’s photos started to make the rounds following the event from over the weekend. Compilations and threads from accounts like B/R Gridiron and Warren Sharp did the best of exhibiting just how many different, unique, and, frankly, comical looks he gave the camera during his time in Los Angeles.
Heaner just wrapped up a four-year collegiate career with Washington and Fresno State. Once he got to Fresno, the former three-star prospect out of Danville, California really found his groove. In his three seasons with the Bulldogs, he threw for over 9,000 passing yards and 67 touchdowns on a 67.9% completion rate.
That production earned him a shot at the next level in the 2023 NFL Draft. In the end, the Saints ended up selecting him with the No. 127 pick in the fourth round during the draft.
Now, while he has yet to take a snap yet, Haener has already made a name for himself with these photos. He actually may have made more of a face for himself more than anything. Nonetheless, his looks are headed to down to The Big Easy ahead of what will be his rookie season this fall.

Bryce Young dons a Carolina Panthers uniform for the first time
Bryce Young remained on top, being the first overall pick of the 2023 NFL Draft. It adds to the lengthy list of accomplishments, including a No. 2 ranking coming out of high school and winning the Heisman Trophy. The Carolina Panthers are putting the future of their franchise into the hands out Young, hoping to get back to winning ways.
Young has already gotten on the field, participating in rookie minicamps. However, he has been wearing a red non-contact jersey the entire time. Nobody has seen Young in a legit Carolina uniform that he will be wearing on Sundays.
Until now.
The Panthers posted photos of Young in the team’s black jersey, giving him the No. 1. Young has sported the number for some time now, dating back to his time at Mater Dei High School. Of course, he wore it while at Alabama and has had nothing but success.
Hopefully, the same happens for him in Carolina. You can check out the full photos of Young wearing No. 9 here.
