Seth Curry knows how crazy March Madness is as he spent three seasons playing for the Duke Blue Devils. On3 recently caught up with the veteran NBA guard and asked him how this year’s Duke team can win the NCAA Tournament title.

“Obviously, you got to have health first. You got to get my guy [Cooper Flagg] back out there on the floor, nice and healthy and ready to go,” Curry told On3. “But you got to just be your best when your best is needed. That’s the name of the game and the tournament. They obviously got the talent and they’re playing well towards the end of the season. So I mean that’s what [Mike Krzyzewski] used to always tell us. I know they had some losses early in season of good teams, but you want to be your best in March and I think they fit their stride right now and I’m excited to see what they do.”

Led by Cooper Flagg, Duke enters the tournament as a No. 1 seed. The Blue Devils finished the regular season with a 31-3 record and won the ACC Tournament championship.

Seth Curry shares more on Duke and Bush’s Beans

Seth Curry is hoping Duke can do something he wasn’t able to do when he was playing for the team from 2010-2013. Duke made the tournament every season when Curry was on the team but lost in the Sweet Sixteen in 2011, fell in the first round in 2012 and came up short in the Elite Eight in 2013. Curry played well in his final season at Duke, averaging 17.5 points per contest. He was selected to the All-ACC First Team for his work on the court.

Along with supporting the Blue Devils, Seth Curry has partnered with Bush’s Beans for its “Your Fam On A Can” campaign which began on March 19. Fans can head to YourFamOnACan.com for a free personalized can to commemorate their favorite family recipes.

Curry kicked off the campaign with a new commercial talking about his own Curry Family Caviar recipe. “It’s a lot of fun, honestly,” Curry said. “We came together. Obviously, Bush’s Beans has their family recipe and we have our own family recipe in my household with Bush’s as the main ingredient.

“So especially around March, me and my wife in the kitchen, we whip up this Curry Family Caviar, which is kind of a spin on cowboy caviar with Bush’s black beans and chickpeas and a bunch of different veggies in there. And there’s something you can just snack on while you watch games and it’s legit.”
