Throughout his college career at Jackson State and Colorado, Shedeur Sanders thrived in the NIL space in addition to his success on the football field. He became one of the most notable names in college football.

Now, he’s capitalizing ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft. Sanders signed an exclusive autographed trading card deal with Panini America, the company announced Tuesday.

Through the partnership, the former Colorado standout will be featured in Panini’s line of NFL products, and the company will work with Sanders on other important initiatives. He will also receive a Panini Instant Card through the agreement.

“This partnership with Panini is a great fit for me and it seemed so natural that it just made sense,” Sanders said in a statement. “As a kid, I grew up watching my dad sign Panini trading cards – to know that I’m now going to have my own Panini trading cards and that kids are going to want to collect mine, is a blessing.”

Sanders put together a standout senior season at Colorado in 2024, leading the nation with a 74% completion percentage. He also totaled 4,134 passing yards and 37 touchdowns while leading the Buffaloes to a bowl game as part of an impressive turnaround under his father, Deion.

“We are proud to have Shedeur joining our team of exclusive athletes at Panini,” said Jason Howarth, Panini America senior vice president of marketing and athlete relations. “He is an exciting player whom we have enjoyed getting to know, and we look forward to sharing his products with fans and collectors. Shedeur has a very unique perspective and we look forward to working with him to bring some of the key initiatives important to him to life.”

Shedeur Sanders primed for off-field success in NFL

Sanders is the second former Colorado star to sign an exclusive partnership with Panini America. Teammate Travis Hunter also did so earlier this week as he, too, enters the draft as one of the top prospects on ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr.’s Big Board.

Off the field, much like Hunter, Sanders thrived in the NIL space. He became the first college football player to sign an NIL deal with Nike while adding notable partnerships with Beats by Dre and Google to his portfolio.

Sanders left college with an On3 NIL Valuation of $6.5 million, which ranked No. 2 in the college football NIL rankings. He also sat at No. 2 in the On3 NIL 100, the first of its kind and defacto NIL ranking of the top 100 high school and college athletes ranked by their On3 NIL Valuation.
