Shemar Stewart vows to bring hell to city of every NFL team that doesn't draft him

The 2025 NFL Scouting Combine is taking place in Indianapolis this week and prospects across the country are hungry to prove people wrong. Texas A&M defensive lineman Shemar Stewart is one of those players. And on Wednesday, he let teams in the NFL know that if they don’t draft him, he’ll be a problem for them in the future.
“If you don’t pick me, just know I’m bringing hell to your city,” Stewart said at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis.
A top recruit at the time of his commitment, Stewart accumulated 65 total tackles, 4.5 sacks and one forced fumble during his time in College Station. He’s expected to be a premium pick come April, and he’ll have some time to prove himself throughout the draft process.
Shemar Stewart played high school football at Monsignor Pace (FL), where he was a five-star prospect. He was the No. 5 overall recruit in the 2022 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

“First and foremost, I want to thank God for blessing me with the strength, talent, and opportunities to pursue my dreams,” Stewart wrote. “His guidance and grace have been my foundation through every step of my journey. I also want to thank my dad and mom for their unconditional love, sacrifices, and unwavering support. They have been my rock, my biggest cheerleaders, and the source of my drive to be the best version of myself. Without them, none of this would be possible.
“It is with a heart full of gratitude and emotion that I announce my decision to declare for the 2025 NFL DRAFT. This decision marks a pivotal step in my journey, and while it’s bittersweet to leave behind such a special chapter of my life, I know it’s the right time to move forward and chase the dreams I’ve worked so hard to achieve.
“I want to express my deepest thanks to my teammates, coaches, and the entire Texas A&M community for playing an integral role in my development, both as a player and as a person. From the moment I stepped on campus, I was welcomed with open arms, and I’ve experienced incredible growth thanks to the love and support from every corner of Aggieland. The lessons and experiences I’ve gained here will stay with me for the rest of my life.
