Shilo Sanders takes hilarious shot at Deion amid Shedeur falling in 2025 NFL Draft

Shilo Sanders watched as his brother Shedeur fell in the 2025 NFL Draft, going from a first round prospect to a fifth round pick. The former Colorado defensive back hasn’t heard his name called as the seventh round gets underway, and it has him reevaluating his father Deion’s status as the agent for the duo.
While Coach Prime steered his sons in the right direction at the college level, the NFL wasn’t buying what he sold regarding his sons over the past couple of days. Shilo took a hilarious shot at Deion during the 2025 NFL Draft, revealing that he had to replace him with a real agent: “Dad was our agent,” Shilo Sanders stated on Twitch. “But that hasn’t been working out too good. So today I had to sign with an agent.”
At least Shilo has kept his sense of humor throughout a tough stretch for the Sanders family. He even joked about his brother’s slide earlier this week, stating that if the NFL isn’t feeling Shedeur, it didn’t bode well for the former Big 12 defender’s prospects.
In the end, Shedeur Sanders was picked by the Cleveland Browns. Perhaps Shilo Sanders can end up with the AFC North team, as well. Will it be in the seventh round, or as an undrafted free agent? Time will tell, but this certainly isn’t what Deion Sanders expected for his children, that’s for sure.

More on Shedeur Sanders, 2025 NFL Draft
Moreover, throughout the pre-draft process, one of the big questions around Shedeur Sanders was whether his father, Deion, would have a presence. That discussion got even louder as Shedeur fell down the 2025 NFL Draft board, and Cleveland Browns GM Andrew Berry addressed it after selecting him.
“I felt like our personal relationship and interactions with Deion, that’s really been all positive from our perspective,” Berry told reporters. “And I mean that organizationally, not just me and Kevin. But really, all of us who have interacted with Deion and the people out in Colorado. We don’t typically penalize prospects for their parents, so to speak. So I can’t say if that was a factor or not for other teams. But that was not a significant factor for us.”
All told, Shedeur Sanders is set to sign a four-year contract with the Browns, according to Spotrac. The total value of the deal is $4.6 million – a $40 million decrease from a Top-2 pick in the draft – with an annual salary of $1.15 million. It’ll be a hard pill to swallow, but it’s up to the former Colorado star to prove his doubters wrong at the NFL level moving forward.
