Simone Biles' husband, Bears safety Jonathan Owens, responds to her shot at MyKayla Skinner
The run of the USA Women’s Gymnastics team through the 2024 Paris Olympic Games has been a remarkable one, as much for what has happened off the mat and the beam as on it. And the drama surrounding Simone Biles and her defense of the team has drawn plenty of scrutiny.
Through it all, Biles has had the support of her husband, Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens.
Owens chimed in on a Simone Biles Instagram post that was targeted at one of the team’s naysayers going into the Olympics. His message was one of support and admiration.
First Owens exclaimed “Gold Medalist” with accompanying medal and fire emoji. Then he delved into a motto the team adopted that has caught the Internet by storm.
“F AROUND AND FIND OUT,” Owens wrote.
The reference? To none other than the team’s unofficial motto, meaning “F*** Around and Find Out.”
After the team captured gold, the haters were silenced.
That number, at least to the team, included the likes of former USA gymnast MyKayla Skinner. Skinner made some comments before the Olympics competition began that ruffled the feathers of some of the current team members, including Simone Biles.

“Besides Simone, I feel like the talent and the depth just isn’t like what it used to be,” Skinner said in a now-deleted video. “The girls just don’t have the work ethic.”
Following Team USA’s gold medal win, Skinner issued an apology. “I want to formally apologize to Team USA and to our gymnastic community for my comments during my recent YouTube episodes of the gymnastics Olympic trials,” Skinner wrote at the time. “It was not my intention to offend or disrespect any of the athletes or to take away from their hard work. Your hard work and dedication has paid off and I congratulate each and everyone one of you.”
Suffice it to say, though: Simone Biles and her husband Jonathan are thoroughly enjoying the outcome of the last few days.
